Shane is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years accounting and financial experience. Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Degree with majors in Accounting and Law. Shane commenced his professional career with KPMG (Audit Division) in 1987. From late 1989 to mid 2000, Shane worked for a large Accounting Practice in Ballarat. From mid 2000 to late 2009, Shane operated his own Accounting Practice, until he merged it with the Ballarat Practice of RSM Australia. Shane is currently employed by RSM Australia.
Shane has actively been involved in the Mining and Exploration Industry since 2006. He was Local Agent/Company Secretary for Redcliffe Resources Ltd (ASX:RCF) from 2006 to 2016. He was Non-Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for Metminco Ltd(ASX:MNC) from 2008 to 2009. He has held the position of Non-Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for MRG Metals Ltd (ASX:MRQ) from incorporation in 2011 to present.
